What we do

Waterproofing that lasts the building, not the warranty

Waterproofing failures are the single most common defect in Australian construction. The cause is almost never the membrane itself — it's prep, detailing, or specification. We do this work to Australian Standards (AS 3740 for wet areas, AS 4654 for above-ground external, AS 4858 for membrane types), document every layer, and stand behind it.

01 — Inspect

Substrate & site assessment

We come out, look at the substrate, falls, penetrations, junctions and any existing waterproofing. We give you a written scope, not a one-line "supply and apply" quote.

02 — Specify

Right membrane, right place

Polyurethane, acrylic, cementitious, sheet membrane, bitumen — each suits a specific situation. We specify by substrate, exposure and movement, not by what was on the van that day.

03 — Apply

Detailing is where it lives or dies

Corners, penetrations, hob junctions, drainage outlets — these are where 90% of failures happen. Reinforcing fabric in the corners, bond breakers at movement joints, drainage flange overlap done right.

04 — Document

Compliance certificate & photos

You receive a Form 16 / waterproofing compliance certificate (where applicable in your state), photographs of every coat, batch numbers, and the manufacturer's TDS for the membrane used.

Documented work

Every job leaves with photographs of each coat, product batch numbers, and the Australian Standard the work was carried out to. If you ever need to make an insurance claim or sell the property, you have the paper trail.

Specified by substrate

Concrete and fibre-cement and plywood and AAC need different primers, different membranes, and different cure conditions. We specify by what you've got, not by what's convenient.

Australian Standards

AS 3740 (wet areas), AS 4654 (external above-ground), AS 4858 (membrane types), AS 3958 (tile-bedding compatibility). We work to the Standards, not around them.

Leak diagnosis on-site

Existing leak? We do a proper on-site diagnosis with moisture meters and (if needed) a flood test. Often the leak isn't where the stain is. Diagnosis fee is credited against the repair if you go ahead.

Real warranty, real follow-up

10-year workmanship warranty on wet areas and balconies (matches the manufacturer's product warranty in writing). 12-month free inspection. Statutory structural waterproofing warranty separately, where applicable.

Licensed and insured

State waterproofing licence, manufacturer-certified applicator status for the major membrane brands, public liability and contract works insurance. Happy to show certificates — if a contractor won't, that's a red flag.
